| 2008 FABULOSO RC NOW UNDER SADDLE |
| Date: 9/17/2011 |
Source: Rancho Chico |
Check out his new video on the Videos page taken after about 15 days under saddle. Fabuloso is calm, willing, and talented. Fabuloso RC (Saltador ORO x Jabalina D) born April 3, 2008 is super friendly with fantastic movement. He loves people and other horses with his laid back personality, but he moves with forward, fluid movement with suspension, the kind of gaits that score high in dressage. Why not-both sire and dam are Best Movement winners. Fabuloso has an easy, tractable personality with soulful, loving eyes. Again-why should we be surprised since both sire and dam are friendly, willing, and have great rideability. Fabuloso RC shows impressive potential even at this young age. Trailers, lunges, no vices, no health issues, clean x-rays, tough hooves. Although born chestnut, he is now rose grey and will finish silvery grey at 16hh plus. Fabuloso RC has ANCCE Carta (registered in Spain as Pura Raza Espanola) and IALHA Registration in hand. Photos on Horses for Sale page. |

Bryssa RC was wearing Dr Cooks bitless bridle when we shot the winning video last November. She was just learning leg yield and shoulder in. Though she has now shown First Level dressage in a snaffle with scores in the mid 60s, she still prefers to go bitless as we school Second Level. You can see the video on the VIDEOS page. |

Marchoso D (12 year old gelding), Bryssa RC (7 year old mare), and Fabuloso RC (2 year old gelding) enjoyed the attention and competition for 6 days at the 2010 IALHA National Show. Marchoso was National Reserve Champion in both Dressage Hack as well as Vintage Riders. Bryssa took First Place in Qualifying Dressage Suitability and Top 5 in the Championship class. It was Fabuloso's first time at a show, but by the third time in the ring he got the hang of it and got great scores on his gaits as well as Top 5. The show was fun and friendly and we saw many old friends. |

| WE'VE GONE BITLESS! |
| Date: 12/15/2009 |
Source: Rancho Chico |
We are now riding all our horses without a bit, using Dr Cook's Crossunder Bitless Bridle, and the horses are LOVING IT! Every horse is so comfortable and calm without a bit in the mouth. As a result they have more forward energy and are more responsive to leg and seat aids. Dressage training is easier and trail riding is more fun.
Unfortunately the USDF has not approved bitless bridles as show legal although the Netherlands has approved Dr Cook's Bitless Bridle. Dr Cook continues to try to convince the USDF of the benefits of his bridle. You can access a lot of information on his website including an article I wrote about the experiences with my horses at www.bitlessbridle.com. |

Our broodmare, Jabalina, is taking a year off from motherhood to resume her dressage training to regain her muscle and stamina while at the same time developing her dressage talents and having fun. | DESTINATION: SAN DIEGO |
| Date: 11/1/2005 |
Source: Rancho Chico |
Destina RC moved to the beautiful hills east of San Diego, CA to join her new owners and friends, Cathy and Charles Johnson. Cathy reported upon arrival the Bob Hubbard Transport driver said, "You sure got a beautiful little thing in this trailer. You are one lucky person!"
Cathy is of Portuguese descent, but she prefers the Pure Spanish Horse. She researched bloodlines thoroughly and reviewed countless sales videos, she said, before choosing Destina. "I believe Destina RC is truly destined to be something very special. Destina is surely a beautiful filly." We totally agree. Congratulations, Cathy and Charles! |
